Nike has done it again and released not one but two amazing collabs! They have teamed up with MoStack to create a street wear, urban, down-to earth fashion video to promote the synergistic of Nike Air Max Plus(TN's) and Nike's VapourMax, and i'm defintely here for it!!
Whats Whats
Nike rightly teamed up with MoStack to create a fashion campaign video to promote the new VapourMax +, a slick mixture of just the right amount of TN mixed with VapourMax's new innovative air system. The concept took it back to the streets, which is appropriate since TN is derived and has been(still is) hyped by the rap/grime industry who elevated and made the TN more of a classical urban sneaker. So it makes sense that they brought the innovative trend setters like Mostack, Mugun, Young_Tribez, Octavian, Sleazy_F_Baby, Just_Banco in the rap/grime industry for this campaign. In addition, the video was released on Footasylum official page, which itself is also know for it's alternative street wear collections (perfect consistent branding going on here and i'm here for it!).
The Video
The video jumps from one scene to another mirroring the rhythm of MoStack x Mist- Screw & Brew song. It's set in various down to earth locations that literally takes the sneaker and viewers back to the street. The different scenes goes from MoStack with his squad all decked out in street wear to the tee, paired with VapourMax +, to scenes of MoStack sitting on a washing machine at a launderette ( what is it with people and launderettes this year...had Ian Berry use only denim to create a launderette scene, now MoStack...all I can say is launderette= art! Love it!) holding the VapourMax +, showing his pearly whites, to a slick clean white studio setting with him on a bike. The Sneaker
The body exterior of the sneaker takes on the butch classic style of the Nike Tuned Air(Nike Air Max Plus), including the stylistic wave indent feature, which moves away from the light, softer looking flynit design of the recent VapourMax's. Instead keeping the new and improved air containment system from the Vapourmax, that is breaking new boundaries in regards to footwear. Combined with the implemented air system that runs through various air units in the midsole of a TN, make the Nike VapourMax Plus the perfect cushion for heavy impacting activities.
These sneakers have even been approved by the Chicken Connoisseur himself^^
